Inputs Before the Bend

A leadership session inside a sports-car driving experience, built on what the instructor sees when you take a corner.

The driving is unchanged. What you take back on Monday is not.

What it is

You book a driving experience because you want to drive. An instructor watches how you take a corner, tells you what to do differently, and you leave a better driver than you arrived.

You also run a company. Nothing about the day touches that, and the habits the instructor just spent four hours correcting are the same habits you take back to the office on Monday.

So we add thirty to sixty minutes alongside the debrief you are already having. Not your braking read as a character trait: through a corner you take the same five decisions you take in front of your people. What you want at the exit. What the car will do with what you ask of it. In what order you tell it. Where it slips. And how you listen and respond to the car. Those five are the CRAFT Method, and the instructor has just watched you take all of them.

Why a car

  1. A leader standing in front of their people is doing what a driver does through a corner.
  2. Choosing the line. Sequencing brake, steering, gas and gear before the corner arrives.
  3. Correcting on how the car responds, while it is still happening.
  4. A car tells you the moment your inputs go sloppy, just before the drift turns into a spin.
  5. In your business you find out a quarter later, in what your teams did with what you said, and by then the drift has long since become a spin.

What the day looks like

The driving is unchanged. Same cars, same route, same instructors, exactly as the driving experience already runs. Our session sits beside the debrief that already happens.

What you leave with

The driving coaching you came for. And the same five decisions seen in both places: through a corner, where the car answers you at once, and in front of your people, where the answer takes one quarter. You learn them where the answer is instant. You apply them in your business.
